How the Passport assessment works

A realistic case, a human review and a live identity and authorship check.

  1. 1. Standard

Every criterion maps to the published standard BORAKA-VCS-CR-001 v1.0.0: 10 domains and 20 competencies.

    10.5281/zenodo.22256856
  2. 2. Case

One case from a rotating pool for your track. You never receive the same case twice.

  3. 3. Written work products

Read the case documents and write your decisions and reasoning in the timed Assessment Room.

  4. 4. Blind review

A trained reviewer reads your work without seeing your identity and scores against the case criteria.

  5. 5. Second read

One in four attempts, chosen at random, plus every borderline result and every critical failure, is scored again by a second reviewer who cannot see the first scores. Disagreements go to staff.

  6. 6. Live verification

For demonstrated work, show government ID and explain two of your own answers on a short live call. The call is not recorded.

  7. 7. Record

A verified Passport lists the domains demonstrated, the date and a 24 month expiry. You choose whether to share it.

What this means and does not mean

For employers

Verify any Passport the candidate shares with you at trialcity.app/verify. You see the outcome, domains, dates, and how it was checked. Never the candidate’s answers or ID.
