Trial City

Terms of use

Effective October 13, 2026

These terms cover the Trial City preview at trialcity.app, a Kirabi product run by YANA Careers, LLC ("we", "us"). By claiming a place, voting or sending a company request, you agree to them.

1. What the preview is

The preview lets you explore the city, claim a place and receive a founding resident number, vote on the question of the day, and ask for a company building. The rooms themselves are not open yet. Features, dates and the order in which cities open may change.

2. Who can take part

You must be 18 or older. The preview is meant for people who work in, study or are entering clinical research and related fields.

3. Your place

4. What you may not do

5. Company requests

Asking for a building is a request, not a purchase. We decide which companies appear, and nothing is shown publicly until we confirm it with you.

6. Our content

The Trial City name, the city, its design and its text belong to us. You may share your resident card and links to the site. You may not copy the city or present it as your own.

7. What you submit

You keep ownership of what you submit. You give us permission to display your display name, function, city and resident number on the site and on your card, and to use your votes in totals.

8. Ending a place

You can give up your place at any time by writing to rudy@boraka.co. We may remove a place that breaks these terms.

9. No warranties

The preview is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be available without interruption, free of errors, or that any feature will launch.

10. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the preview, and our total liability is limited to 100 US dollars.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, and disputes will be heard in its courts.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will email residents before a change that matters takes effect. Questions go to rudy@boraka.co.

Community rules

They apply now to names and votes, and later to everything members post.

  1. Be who you say you are. One place per person. A handle is fine; pretending to be someone else is not.
  2. One vote each. You can change your vote. You cannot stack it.
  3. Protect the work. Never share details of a patient, study, sponsor or site.
  4. Speak from experience. Say what happened to you, not what someone else deserves.
  5. Name people only to thank or recommend them.
  6. Leave people better than you found them. No harassment, no selling in someone's inbox, no recruiting without being asked.

Breaking a rule can cost you your place. Report a problem to rudy@boraka.co.
