After you claim a spot
Last reviewed October 15, 2026
Here is what happens after you claim a spot, in the order you will meet it.
- Your card. You get a resident card with your founding number and a personal referral link. Share it with colleagues in your city.
- My spot. Your own page, with tabs for your spot, your city, Career, your questions, News and Settings.
- Ask the city. Ask a work question in Town Square, answer others from experience, and see reference cards approved by City Hall.
- News and preferences. Updates from official sources. Choose your topics and regions so the For you list fits your work.
- Cities and the 10-resident rule. Your city opens when 10 residents live there. Until then you see how close it is; after that, residents see who lives there.
- Daily find. One short thing to read each day: a reference card, a word, a building or an update. Open it on days in a row and My spot counts your streak.
- Trips and checklists. Add the cities you are going to and the kind of visit. Each kind comes with a short prep checklist you can tick and add to.
- Career and Inside. Keep your private work history in the Career tab and see how you would fit in each building on its Inside page.
- The Passport Office, when it opens. You will be able to take a verified assessment when you want proof of what you can do.
- Emails. You choose which emails you get in Settings. Every email also has a link to stop it.
- Deleting a spot. In Settings you can delete your spot. Your personal details go, and the number is never given to anyone else.
